Keerweder Safaris is all about exquisite plains game hunting in Namibia. Keerweder is a unique hunting opportunity for anyone wishing to experience the best of African plains game hunting in a relaxed, family-oriented atmosphere. You will be hunting on 250,000 plus acres and February-November is the ideal time for hunting in Namibia. For 13 years now we have tailored hunts to our guests' comfort and preferences within an enjoyable family environment.
 

Housing Accomodations
Hunter's Guesthouse
You will stay in a nicely appointed hunter's guesthouse. The guesthouse has two private bedroom suites, each with a bathroom, sitting area and ample closet space.


Beautiful Scenery
The scenery from the guesthouse is beautiful. Each suite has a picture window providing a beautiful view of the sunrise each day, and most days you will see wild game drinking at a waterhole in the distance.


Private Veranda
From the veranda outside your room you can enjoy your morning cup of coffee while the sun rises, or relax after a day of hunting and enjoy a cold beverage, and one of Africa's famed spectacular sunsets.


Laundry Service
Your bedroom suite is cleaned and serviced daily. Fresh linens and towels are provided. And yes, there is hot water for that welcome shower after a day of hunting. Laundry is cleaned and ironed daily.

Keerweder is located approximately 90 miles Southeast of Windhoek, the capital of Namibia.

 
 

Daily Rates & Trophy Fees

 

DAILY FEES 2008

  • 1 Hunter US$ 350 per hunter Guided Hunting 1:1
  • 2 Hunters US$ 290 per hunter Guided Hunting 2:1
  • Resting Day US$150 per hunter
  • Non-hunters/Observers US$170 per person
  • More than 2 hunters - contact us for special offers.
  • 15% Namibian VAT is included in the daily rates
  • Rates are accumulated per person per night

Included in the daily rates:

  • Transfer from Windhoek Airport to Keerweder Hunting Safaris and back
  • Guided hunting
  • Trackers and skinners
  • Field preparation of trophies
  • Delivery of trophies to local taxidermist or shipping agent
  • Accommodations, meals, non- alcoholic drinks and beer as well as complementary alcoholic drinks,
  • Daily laundry service
  • Transportation
  • Animal processing and trophy handling.

Not included in the daily rates:

  • Cost per animal hunted
  • Rented rifle and ammunition
  • Alcoholic drinks
  • Gratuities
  • Internet and phone facilities. At the hunter's guesthouse there is reception for cell phones should you wish to bring your personal cell phone (roaming to be arranged prior to arrival).
  • Use of Internet facilities cost US$5 per day.
  • Full preparation of trophies by Taxidermist
  • Export costs for trophies

PAYMENT:

Acceptable methods of payment: Travelers checks, electronic payment or cash. No credit cards.

A deposit of US$1500 confirms your booking. Thereafter 50% of the accommodation fees are payable ahead of time.

The trophy fees cover all costs with the exception of costs for shipping of trophies to your desired final destination. Wounded and lost animals are counted as killed
